Heute ging es in das Byrd Polar Research Center der Ohio State University in Comlumbus.
Ice Core samples from Mount Kilamanjaro in Tanzania. (My granddaughter Hazel, will never get to see snow on Kilamanjaro as I did many years ago.)
Dort gab es unter anderem auch Eis des Kilamanjaro zu sehen, allerdings wird zum Beispiel Bobs Enkelin, wenn sie alt genug ist, nicht mehr in der Lage sein das Eis auf dem Berg zu sehen, denn dann ist es schon komplett abgeschmolzen.
Lo is ready to head for either the North or South Poles...whichever expedition leaves first.
Lo haben wir dann auch gleich im Institut gelassen, denn wie man unschwer erkennen kann ist sie schon bereit für die nächste Expedition, egal wo hin :D
