A TIME OF PREPARATION

Last week we came to St. John's UCC church to server The Largest Table Meal and this week we knew the routine and so Carolin and Elli feel at home in the church.

Auch diesen Mittwoch ging es, wie schon letzten Mittwoch zum Largest Table Meal der St. Johns Gemeinde. 

                                  

Christie, Maike and Amber prepare some donated flowers for use in the church.

Heute sollten auch zahlreiche Blumen, die freundlicherweise von einer älteren Dame gestiftet wurden sortiert werden, wie hier von Christie, Amber und Maike. 

                           

Kerstin is a part of the work team. 

Auch Kerstin war mit von der Partie. :D

Lo und Chad hingegen haben bei der Essensausgabe mitgeholfen.

A TIME TO WORSHIP

                            

Worship proceeds the meal. Nils leads the chorus of Kerstin, Lisa, Frederieke, Lena, Elli & Jana 

Vor dem Essen fand noch ein Gottesdienst statt. Nils hat nicht nur Klavier gespielt, sondern auch den Chor bestehend aus Kerstin, Lisa, Frederieke, Lena, Elli und Jana angeleitet.

We've met for three times at St. John's UCC and so Pastor Rachel helps us to process what we have seen, done and learned.

Wir waren heute zum dritten Mal in der St. Johns Gemeinde, also gab es noch ein kurzes abschließendes Gespräch und ein Fazit.

Im Anschluss gab es dann noch für alle ein Graeters Eis, bevor es zum Cook oft bei Familie Rose ging.

Clay & Lynn Rose opened their home and yard to us for the evening meal. (Thanks!)

A TIME FOR FUN.

          

A Corn Hole Tournament was played.....Maike, Sarah, Gracie (photographs it all) Nils, Lisa and Jana.

Natürlich durfte auch ein Corn Hole Tunier nicht fehlen, allerdings nach komplett eigenen 

Regeln.

A TIME TO CELEBRATE

                                      

It was officially Pastor Lisa's Birthday and so we sang her praises in English and German!

Heute war dann auch endlich Pastor Lisas richtiger Geburtstag, Glückwünsche gab es auf Englisch und Deutsch. 

A TIME TO WONDER

     

Dublin does not like to bother planting corn every year....that's very inefficient....and so we have Cement Corn......as Fred will attest.
