Our day began upon our arrival at the barn near Lancaster, Ohio.
Everyone was there for breakfast...hosted by the Canal Winchester, Ohio church....David's United Church of Christ.
Simon, Sarah & Jana were taking in the bucolic setting of the farm.
Lisa and Simon we taking photos of goats in the barn.
Our thanks to our hosts for the morning.

Resting along the trail....Amber, Maike, Amy & Jana
Hocking Hills is a popular State Park in South Central Ohio....with numerous hikes. We were led by the Canal Winchester Church as we started at Old Man's Cave and Hiked to Cedar Falls....and then back to Old Man's Cave.
Along the way we got muddy........
Tired........
And occasionally lost........
But the beauty of the area......
And some of its unique natural features were a delight to most and quite tiring for many...especially those who had had only a couple hours sleep the night before. (Lisa climbing up the tree roots growing clinging to a rock.)
Quiet stream on the way to Old Man's Cave.
At the end of the 8 km hike....there was food.
Reason to celebrate our accomplishment with Lisa and Nils.
Time for reflection and rest with Chad and Eli.
